Every December When You Wish Upon A Star takes 400 children to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas. Take part in a Santa Run in either Nottingham, Leicester, Scunthorpe, English Riviera or Ayr and you will help us to grant the Wishes of poorly children who dream of meeting Santa Claus in Lapland.
It becomes very emotional when Santa meets the children. To see this great big giant of a man listening to a small child, intently telling him all their hopes and dreams and really believing in him, is very moving. This trip means the children, just for one day, can forget about their pain and suffering in the excitement of meeting Santa Claus.
